Although Forterra owns the patent they don't own There anymore, right? There was sold a while ago - I believe that's right. What a stupid and strange development.


Yeah, Makena Technologies acquired There back in April of this year. Former There and Forterra executive Steve Victorino will be president and COO of the new company. Appparantly There is all that company has at the moment.

It looks like Forterra still owns the technology for There since they are still using it for their government contract.

Actually, I think most of the forum will agree that Cienna Rand has already patented that.

I doubt There has the cash to take on The Mouse.


Not to mention Star Wars Galaxies. Likely There doesn't have the cash to take on both Sony Online Entertainment, too.
