What should such fellows as I do crawling between earth and heaven? We are arrant knaves, all; believe none of us.

Gentlemen,

Post what it is that you REALLY want from the ladies in SL.

LOL I voted for "more space", but that was before I realized that the poll had anything to do with ladies. :o

The poll simply said "What do men really want?"

Reitsuki! That is so sexist, whether the speaker is gay or not.

Simply because less women doesn't equal more men.

Well, I mean, relatively speaking, it does, yes.

But the same effect can be realized by not diminishing the amount of women but increasing the amount of men.

No, really.

As sure as I like to use italics.

Hmmmph.

Intelligence and wit.

Faithfulness and honesty are important, too. Independence.

But at the end of the day, I'm looking for a woman who can think.

Already got one, tho. Happily married in RL for six years now. :)

I am honestly surprised to see "A Sexually Aggressive Woman" do so well! My RL experience has been that a lot of guys are intimidated or put off by a very sexual woman. Maybe the SL demographic for men is a little less...intimidated :D

Good

to

know!

Give me honesty any day of the week. Too many people in SL have things to hide that really shoudln't be hidden (real genders, for instance).

Aside from that, being yourself would be a good thing. For me personally, intelligence, wit, and being geeky are all Good Traits (as my current girlfriend can attest to :P )

Tell me,
Would you say that you are geeky as well, or do you just prefer a woman with a geeky personality? Would you say that turns you on or is it a personality trait that makes it easy for your to relate to her?

I met my girlfriend through a mutual friend; we were at a get-together, and she complimented me on my "I roll twenties" t-shirt (dungeons and dragons joke). I complimented her on her Ninja Space Pirates shirt.

So the geekiness sparked the interest, and gives us something to relate to, but it's also a state of mind. I love hearing her go on a wild-eyed tangent about grammar (she's a journalism/english major), even though I find the subject extremely boring on any other day with any other person.

I'm definitely geeky, although it was withering on the vine for a time because I didn't have any fellow geeks to grok out to. I found her, though, so it's all good. :)

And yeah, geekiness is hot. :)

That's cool. We have friendly compeition here. You know Dallas vs Redskins, Coleco Vision vs. Atari 2600. We actually got into a heated argument about which was better since we both used them as children. So we won them each on eBay along with all those game cartidges to accompany the game systems. We sat around and compared specs for hours...then days...until we realized how we'd been neglecting the XBOX. Eventually sold them back on eBay.

I can relate which is why I asked. ;)

Has it ever occured to you that the results will be skewed? You are asking MEN what they are looking for, yet the WOMEN will want to know which answer has the highest votes. And since the only way you can see the results is to vote, women are going to vote too.

I voted honesty, I don't have time to play the damn silly games people do. I enjoy meeting people and learning about their interests. I don't feel I have to impress anybody. I go in world to do whatever I'm in the mood for. I don't have to lie about it cuz I don't really care. Either you like me for who I am or GTFO :D

Other than that bigger Exite products

heh, this is a very strange question, friends and strangers, male and female, I want the same thing from. consideration, the use of a brain, and a sense of humor, and the ability to be blunt when needed (as needed, not as a rule, and the ability to tell when it's appropriate).

Now as far as girlfriend, when I figure out what I want from a girlfriend in rl I'll let you know about sl :P. I have a hard time seperating emotions between offline and online and I know it, so the two are pretty much one and the same to me.

Heh, for sure, honesty, which is what I chose in the poll. I can put a few basics I suppose. The ability to discuss anything and everything. A lack of any fanatical views (strong opinions welcome, must be able to change mind). The ability to be okay with not agreeing. Must like animals. Must like geeky things :) (hardest thing to find right there). light drinker, non smoker. Must be self sufficient. If you need a boyfriend to feel your worth, I'm not him. Chivalry isn't dead :), I still open doors, and pull out chairs, walk on the street side of the sidewalk, and want to spend time with you, but you've got to have your own life. Must absolutely not be perfect.

A jack of all trades, only female. uh, Jill?

oh ya, artistic is a good thing too.

and I prefer to be more supportive than supported. recieving support is not a bad thing at all, I've just never been that comfortable with it. I do like to be helpful. You know like "babe, can you pick up the dry cleaning and do the dishes". Heh I actually like that.

I noticed someone said they would not change who they were for anyone. heh, I can't say never but I'm pretty stuborn :P.

heh, I dunno there's just a click factor in there which I can't define. online I can't really call it chemistry, but it amounts the the same thing. This doesn't mean physical/sexual attraction to me. I'm just not that sexual a person so much as a appreciate those who are, I'm probably not the guy for a nympho ;).

Gentlemen,

Post what it is that you REALLY want from the ladies in SL. Whether it be your SL wife, girlfriend, best friend or the general female population...what is it you you like to see more or less of from women?

Use the poll or post your comments.

Intelligence.

My answer would have been the same if the question was about males.
