Would You Argue with Yourself?

If you were duplicated and your duplicate were posting at the same time as you in the forum, would you get along with your duplicate or would you argue with it? Would you be rubbed the wrong way by your own style? Would you feel jealous by their identical forum presence? Would you crack each other up?

I would correct myself, probably point out things I said that could have double meanings. Post clarifications about what my other self had probably meant. Ask myself questions. Possibly dissagree over technicalities and the motivations behind other people's actions. Basically what I already do . And what I already do when I talk to myself, verbally or not .

He means yes, but not in an antogonistic way. Though dry humor is possible .

Well, it used to always be true when I said that, but then it became a running gag of sorts. I did get a lot of shit done, but I generally never made it into a finished product. Where's the fun in that. For me, SL used to be all about geeking out and one-upping the other scripters, so the challenge often ended at the proof of concept stage. You have to understand that it's a bit frustrating to see people being acclaimed and celebrated for basically the same crap you did when you were a noob. I guess that shows you the value of good marketing.

I'm not in SL for the money, or the popularity, or the reputation. o.O. even my other self doesn't get it. Active memory as in when you did this stuff back in beta, most of us weren't around and so don't remember. Also those who were around might remember but not until something rings a bell and they dig out out of the mental file drawer.

I was proposing and alternative to advertising being the reason repeat performances by new avatars a seen as original and innovative.

I assumed you meant, since you weren't around to see it, I probably took advantage of that to claim I did a whole lot of shit I didn't do. As I said, I have nothing to gain from that.
I believe my more recent work speaks for itself, and it so far surpasses anything I could have done in Beta, there is no reason why I would brag about having done an earlier, admittedly proof-of-concept version of some product or another that later made a few people extremely rich/famous/what have you. Aside from comedy value.

Lol, no harm done, I really do try and find the double meanings in what I say before I post it. I completely missed that one. Friday the 13th apparently works on me too. As per the holy shit comment earlier I had thought that for the purposes of humor it may have become a little exagerated but it never crossed my mind that it was made up.
