What I thought was funny is what the arrest did to the stocks of Internet gambling companies. Everyone knows that the stock market is the biggest gamble going!

Well, the thread belonged in sandbox, I didn't mean to derail it, it was just the first thing that sprang to mind.

As for merging the threads when they didn't go my way I'm not quite sure what you mean. I merged the thread when I saw there was a cross posting on the same subject which is against the forum guidelines.

I agree with Zap about the cross posting *shrug* it was rightious decision.

This does have interesting implications for LL. Though I would guess they would be protected as an ISP.

LL does not give users the ability to decern overseas players from local players. So there is no way to regulate overseas gambling. This could put LL in some hot water as they could be considered as enabling it. But who has ever heard of enabling gambling to be a crime?

Thank goodness Big Brother is taking action. I was thinking about this terrible crime at the Hate just yesterday.
