well let me see what to do with sl down !. read a book 2. play with rl hubby 3. take a nap 4. do housework (ugh) 5. watch tv 6. continue to post to forums and try to get in hmmmmm
should i flip a coin or draw straws lol

We should all just calm down, after all, it's not like somebody pulled the plug on life itself. There are plenty of other things that you guys can be doing right now instead of sitting here getting pissed about "chat bubbles" and long log ins. Try going OUTSIDE. Go to the park and REA A BOOK. This game is not here to substitute for a lack of first life, but merely to entertain you when you are bored. Chill out people

I think perhaps rebekah doesnt realize how addictive this game is yet hmmm? It is our second life hence the name. If we were so involved in first life we wouldnt be here in our second lol

Don't you just get bored of hearing this? If we only played this when we were bored.. I'd have been bored for 10 months now.

Understandably, every new version is going to have problems. And this was a HUGE update. So.. I mean, it's only natural that there is going to be crap like this.

I'm confident that LL is not sleeping on the job.

It looks like you were born in January? Unless you're an alt, that means you don't remember the huge End-Of-December Extravaganza. XD SL was basically out for, what, three days? I signed up JUST before that happened. Like.. a couple hours before. XD Fun stuff. It's a wonder I even stayed. XD

Ive been playing since January and yes i discovered how addicting the game is, but i realized yesterday what a waste of time this all is. there are so many productive things that you could be doing now. second life is geting in the way of your first life. just think, maybe rebbekah DOES know what she's talking about

Sometimes it doesn't really matter how much testing they do sometimes.

I mean, there are a LOT of people who play SL, and sometimes the hardware just says, "OKAY, SCREW THIS!!" because the load gets to be too big.

You'll notice that these login problems almost always happen in the morning, because that's when everyone's logging on.

So, yes, we are also testers in a way. It's pretty trial-by-fire at times.

They -do- do a LOT of testing for updates, and especially for the big ones like this. But sometimes you just can't predict these things.

And yes, there are other things to do after all. Personally, I'm going to sit here and think of the Top Ten Excruciatingly Humiliating Things I'd like to do to the next Linden who smiles and tells us to be patient.

yep i agree that it seems to crash when u have a good idea u want to work on lol. i am working on my place and wanted to start on the second day of building on it and lol the crashes happened. it also seems to be down when u have been gone all day or havent been able to get on for some reason.....and then when u finally get a chance its either down or crashes soon after u finally get on
