Edit/Client Crash Problem

Since the new Update for 1-17-1-0 about 15% of the time that i click the Edit option on an object it will instantly kick me off of the S.L. Client with out any error it just exits. This is getting extremely annoying seeing as how i am supposed to be helping someone with there land. Any suggestions on what might be wrong? if not then it must be a problem with the client.
