I got the 7600GT in and running.

Following are my 3DMark03, 3DMark06, and SLMarkMO (Made this one up, see end of message for details) scores are for each of the following cards in my machine with a 2.4 GHz Opteron (Single Core) with 1 GB DDR400 RAM:

A) PNY FX5900 (128 MB DDR)
B) PNY FX 5900 (ROM Flashed to a FX5950 Ultra)
C) PNY FX 5900 (ROM Flashed to a FX5950 Ultra) Max Stable Overclock of CPU and GPU
D) BFG 7600GS (512 MB DDR2)
E) Leadtek 7600GT (256 MB DDR3, AGP Version, Stock Speed)
F) 7600GT with Max Stable Overclock of CPU and GPU

3DMark03/3DMark06/SLMarkMO
--------------------------------
A) 5,593 / 298 / 11.25
B) 6,116 / 347 / NA
C) 6,535 / 364 / NA
D) NA / 1,792 / NA
E) 12,409 / 3,004 / NA
F) 13,735 / 3,324 / 32.75

SLMarkMO is the average FPS of the following:

Suffugium (101, 116, 34) staring at the top left button on the security panel keypad: 14 FPS/40 FPS

Arena (142, 46, 57) Sitting in the chair under the "Pleasant Surroundings" picture and focusing on the lazer sphere over the dance floor with music playing and video playing: 7 FPS/12 FPS

Amundsen (0, 2, 2) Sitting on the ground (underwater) and staring at the intersection of the four corners of the neighboring sim property lines: 20 FPS/72 FPS

Badlands (204, 130, 23) Staring at the hollow part of the "d" in "Bad" on the sign over the DJ booth: 4 FPS/7 FPS

The above spots represent (in the order they appear) a very prim heavy, but not crowded region, an area with some complexity and lots of video screens, an area where there is not a prim in sight (or within the draw distance), and an area that has some complexity and tons of traffic (averages 40+ avatars at any given time).
