failed login

every time i try to log in it tells me the system is logging me out...my account will be available at a certain time...i wait until that time and it says the same thing with another time...what exactly does that mean? i've never given out my password so nobody else should be playing me...lol

I have the exact same problem! It's been doing that for about an hour and a half now! Maybe there's a technical issue here?

Same here. Haven't been on the gird for hours, but was on affter the update.

Has anyone else in this thread been on after the update, left, and now can't get back on?

The problem I'm seeing is that people are crashing and/or trying to log out, but the system isn't logging them out. So there are various avatars, who's owner's are are offline, littering the landscape.

If your account isn't availible, that means that your avatar is still in world.

If you like to give me names and locations, I'll gladly go see if you're still in world.

I'm having problems logging in too for over an hour, I was at The Edge Nightclub - I have a date tonight too !

yup i can't log in my screen is stuck on the part where it says, " Logging in. Second life may appear frozen. please wait."

i have let it wait for like 10 minutes on that scren when i went to go do something else and it was still stuck there i have tried several times but to no avail.

What we have here is a typical SNAFU. We had login problems all weekend, then yesterday it came right. Today the Lindens decided to fix he network.

Took it all down for a couple of hours. Then "Yay! We are back." on the blog".
Now we can't log in again.

All back the way it should be...

ok at first i couldnt log back in, cause well for reasons stated by J Worthington above ( muah Hubbeh).
now i cant log in cause my computer clock is wrong. :/

I'm confused. How do we tell a Linden that we can't log in if we're not logged in? Might be a silly question, if so please flame with abandon

You see the little "Post Reply" button beneath the last post on this page? Scroll up and look at the top of the thread and there should be one near the top as well. When you're in the forums, looking for a thread, those buttons become "New Thread" buttons that you click to start a new thread.

Don't be so sure about that...when I relogged just now I to was a bald half naked woman. Of course, I was a bald, half naked man when I logged out...but I digress. Anyway, after teleporting home aftering being dropped in a public store wearing nothing but my boxers for the third time today....I discovered that my personal shape is missing from the database and that I was in fact using the shape of a small half naked woman.

So if you get Ruthed, upon logging in, go check to make sure your shape is what it's supposed to be.

Been trying for over an hour to get in for the first time today! So I doubt my av is in game still - I was last logged in 24 hours ago!!

My login is timing out, keeps saying that something unexpected has gone wrong.

Finally got in, but it was hardly worth it!

Search isn't working (for me), Inventory is just not doing much at all (I believe this is known as there is a notice in the client to a page saying to the effect 'Inventory is Unhappy', clothing isn't rezzing on me until about 10 painful minutes later!, TP is also down.

So, hmm finding something else to do if it doesn't get any better.

Okay never posted her before but was wondering if anyone has experienced this before.

Today i was logged in i teleported to a location but during that tp it logged me out. So i tried to log in and i got that message where u have to wait a few min before logging back in so i waited kept on tryin. Well it took me more than an hour to get in but this is the wierd part my sl hubby said i was on and that he had seen me tp and that he messaged me a few times of course i didnt get anything cuz well i was tryin to log in. I was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone or if u know anyone that has had a similiar experience
