Ever since about 3 or 4 days ago, i've been getting really high packet loss. 9/10 times at full red bar, and at that it gets up to 15% some of the time but mostly hovers around 7-8%.

Is this a known problem with Linden servers or is this just a personal ISP problem? Anyone else getting this?

My ISP seems to be downloading things at normal speeds however.

No but that's about the time I started seeing no more than a couple hundred particles at a time in both the Windows and linux clients on three different machines.

I was about a week ago, and it was related to my outdated firewall blocking something ...or something like that

If you email [email=support@lindenlabs.com]support@lindenlabs.com[/email] they will ask to see your login file, and then can diagnose the problem for you (or, they did for me) Good luck

Moved to Technical Issues.

I did hear a few things which may be related, including Gattz Gilman's and Eloise Pasteur's recent experiences. I haven't heard of a prob with the LL servers, tho--that'd be far more widespread. My own packet loss experiences are unreliable because I am deep in the Canadian forest.

What's WinMTR say, Art? Have it traceroute to sim760.agni.lindenlab.com which is Gibson and let it run for a lot of passes.

Maybe related:
When I was on before leaving for work* I had a lot of trouble teleporting (from any sim to any sim) and other people reported the same problem when I IMed them to ask. One person could not even cross sim boundries.

*This was seven hours ago.

the last couple of days have been bad. Really Laggy. Avatars not Rezzing. Can't move. Stalling for 5 seconds. Almost unusable. I think its gotten worse since the patch.

I'm not getting any packet loss but i am getting some pretty bizzare lag.

I've had horrible ping spikes up to 900-1k msec in both user n sim ping. I get packet loss "waves" of up to 200% according to the lil red bar. It seems to come in a steady wave of loss. I can sit in game for 20 minutes n barely load anything. Been happening for a week or two now. I never had any issues until 2 or 3 patches ago.

Amd 3700+
1gig ram
9600 128mg video card
DSL with router set to SL ports

yes I am having these problems also and did a route trace and found packet loss at border1.ge2-1-bbnet2.sfo002.pnap.net .... I am losing 6% packets there don't know if this is lindens or the last stop before getting to the lindens servers but it is driving me crazy!

Anyone else getting some insane packetloss?
