Skin is showing up with the wrong texture

For some reason, the skin from one of my avs is using the texture from one of my other avs' skins, and I have no idea why. If I put on a different shirt/pants, it shows the right texture underneath them, but if I go back to wearing what I was wearing before, it shows the wrong texture. I had a backup copy of the skin, and strangely BOTH copies of the skin were affected by this, even though I'd never worn the backup. Is there any way to fix this?

Corrupted baked skin/cache

wear a default skin
quit sl
delete SL cache
log in
change back into what you want to wear

Should force SL to rez new texture instead of the one you have in cache thats gone belly up.

If this is a Second Skin, you are going to have to reinstall it before restarting SL.

Just tried what you suggested, but nothing changed. It's still using the wrong texture. If I go to edit my appearance, I see the right texture while I'm editing, but everyone else still sees the wrong one. As soon as I exit that, it goes back to the wrong texture for me as well.

yep thats baked texture corruption, highly annoying one to, been awhile since i had it, but usually clearing cache does it,

try the ruth avatar, wear some clothes, and go back to other skins, need to force the client to update the texture some way.

Theres another post here somewhere that had the same problem, eh good luck its a higly annoying one ~.~ if it was a clothing then you could change sizes and that would force a reset on the texture.

Try this and see if it helps.
