Unable to log in

Yeah... Lets just say i'm here for the same reason too. Except here's how my thing went...:
For some reason I couldnt turn around or move very well, so I decided to relog for the third time today because of some dysfunction. Next thing I know, I cant log in. This happened to me about twenty minutes ago now.

anyone expect anything else in weekends?,

yeah but how many of that 9.5k players are actually logged in? seems like the asset server can't seem to kick player accounts offline preventing people from being able to log back in.

Same deal on my client at this time. Couldn't rez objects from my inventory (though i could create new ones by right-clicking on the ground), so I logged out. Now I can't get back in.

Meh.. does anyone thing that this situation'll be taken care of shortly, like within the next twenty minutes at least? Or does something like this usually last much longer then that to fix?

Still can't login, but however i could log in my other accounts. But i need to finish my building on my own character!!! :<

I havent been able to get back in either..are Any Lindens goign to respond to this thread are they doing anythign to repair this issue

I have been trying to get back in for 20 min now, so has a friend...we were mearly shopping BUT if you go to the website FAQ wizard(http://secondlife.com/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=TechSuspended) its like we have done something wrong. I am in yahoo with other friends atm and they are telling me when they look in their friend list I am offline but when they search me I am online, I had them check my friend too and same deal. What is up with this. Another thing I do not get is there are 3 pages of complaints on this issue atm and there is not a single reply from ANYONE on how to fix it. Do the Lindens pay attention? Some people pay for their accts and it is not fair they can not get back on. What is the deal and why does the FAQ say it was because of abuse, i highly doubt all the ppl in this post were being "bad" esp since most were shopping or changing. HELP! This is SO frustrating!

Same here. I got logged out, tried to relog. No dice. Rebooted my computer for something to do while my 15 mins were up. Came back.. tried to log and what do you know? Another 15 mins till my account becomes available. This is freaking ridiculous. I've just about had it with this game, as soon as I can get in to sell my stuff and leave, I'm doing just that. This game is not worth the irritation.

Yeah same here, SL completely froze, I ended its process and now cant login, the "logging you out" thing keeps getting longer lol. So I give up

There is NOTHING we as users can do at this point. This is a SERVER issue, not a client issue. I managed to get logged in with an alt, shortly after doing so I recieved a Linden Mass Message that they're forcing everyone off the main grid to deal with the problem.

While there are no replies to this thead, there is a general announcement:

Yeah, I was building my damn club, and they chose to log everyone out. I swear that things get worse with each update.

wow! I thought I was the only one having problems with my avie since my connection is bad due to a thunderstorm here in Florida.

I thought my connection didn't let my avie log off and come back in!... good thing I know now... (well, I guess)

Well, time to go watch some tv on a comfortable couch. And don't be so upset over a game, program or whatever. Lots of darn things to do and check around and relax this frustration SL brings us at times. At least they are trying to do something.

I know it can be so frustrating, especially when doing an important event, like a wedding, ect!

It is good to leave the computer and breath lol, stretch, eat normal and.... do more... let the addiction of SL calm down a bit lol

We should be used to this kind of problems!!! I guess, I will be checking again the grid in 2 hrs!

Okay yep it was everyone. I'm calm again... yep totally calm. *sits wringing towel to shreds* Wedding is getting started. All is going to be fine.
