Yep that would work, id easy take a new psu over a stock/case psu anyday as they are made for cheap and it shows when you start upgrading they just blargh. Noticed it doesnt have PFC , that one wouldnt even be allowed in europe (a required feature for power supplies shipped to Europe) PFC (power factor correction) also known as power factor controller) is a feature included in some computer and other power supply boxes that reduces the amount of reactive power generated by a computer. Reactive power has no real value for an electronic device, but electric companies charge for both true and reactive power resulting in unnecessary charges. more info what the heck this is :> (can you tell im bored?)

Thank you Thili but at least you can go on second life! I am going through catastrophic withdrawls here not being able to go on. Sad thing is I have two other computers that just dont even come close to being game capable. All this is lesson learned for me as I am not very computer capable. My next computer will be a laptop that will already be game capable as this upgrading is for the birds-at least from the ground up. Hopefully, after all this is done, there will be no posts from me in the "S.O.S." format. Thank you everyone for your help! =-D

Hehe sadly Laptop's are not the best when it comes to gaming. If you do get one be VERY VERY carefull about your choice. Whilst it might sound harder a desktop is definatly the prefered option for gaming. Having said that for gaming I'd go to a company that knows about gaming rather than a mainstream boxes out of the door type. For instance www.overclockers.co.uk sell a range of pre-built systems many of which are definatly gaming capable ( under £400 one is gaming capable, over £400 only one isn't ). A lap top to match say their £699 system would be well over £1000.

Laptops..are far worse ;_; some things about them; - upgrade? forget it, they will be outdated fast and zero upgradability, try changing a vid card on one..um..wait.. no integrated.
- costly oh yes... for a good laptop you can build a amazing desktop.
- laptop with a good vid card and battery , beep , empty , so you need a wire, wich kinda make the "laptop" a light desktop with a cable in wall : p
- Laptops are not very good for games yet, they have gotten immensly powerfull but blah a desktop can crush it at 1/5th the price ; p
n.n i wont post more of my opinions about laptops as that will be a pure flaming post. For people who dont like fiddling i recommend they find a place where they can set up a pc config, and let them do it, (unfortunatly they charge insane much for a simple job)
