Prim snap and other insanely annoying occurances

Hello all,

Thought I would post this here first before I hit the Hotline.

Since 1.6 rolled out, I have experienced the following intermittant problems:

1. Prim snap. One prim out of a linked set will resize itself spontaneously. I readjust it, leave, come back and it's resized again.

2. Prim snap + visual problems - starting today I ran into linked prims that resize themselves but also don't seem to show me that they've moved. I thought I had ran into a new phantom problem until the person I was building for said that the floor was halfway in the ground - I still saw it in the position I had just moved it to.

The only solutions to 1 & 2 are to delete the prim and make a new one. It seems that once its borked its borked for good.

3. Strange phantom behavior - this has been fully documented with Brent and Kona but I'll just mention it here for posterity.

4. Linked prims suddenly vanishing for 1-3 seconds, then reappearing. Seems to be a bug that doesn't only affect me, as I have had other people in the same area reporting this while I'm working on a project. The frequency varies, but when it happens EVERY time you try and edit linked prims it grinds my workflow to a standstill. This happens much more often than the prim snap issue.

Today I almost freaked out on SL because I was preparing a custom build for a client, and about 5 prims in the build kept snapping or snapped and didn't show me that they had snapped. After the 6th round through trying to catch all the prims that just wouldn't behave I was about ready to quit - why pay when the tools don't work? (Relogging doesn't help. Sometimes it seems to be sim-related but that's a hunch.)

So here I am, hoping others more knowledgable than myself might be able to help or at least tell me I'm not insane.

I'm using a Lynksys router (no wireless), a pretty standard PC with an NVidea GForce 5500FX card, WinXP....not sure what else people need to troubleshoot this. If there's inworld tools I should be using, let me know (how to interpret the results would help too - I can find all the Debug menus but I have no idea what they mean). Thanks in advance.

If LL doesn't fix the zoomed in camera problems (Jumps all over the place when attempting to move/resize/rotate at a high level of zoom) I may soon go totally insane.

Thanks Eata but I'm really looking more for information on the problems I listed than posts with other people's issues.

BUMP - Lee Linden - any help you could provide would be appreciated
