I'm seeing some really bizarre performance issues in Selby that I just don't understand. When I fly into the sim, my FPS goes way down. If I log off and log back on, my FPS is great, but then when I start looking around, it goes back down and never recovers. Here's two images of the stats. The first is when I login directly to the sim. The second is just a minute or two later after I've looked around some. Note: both states are stable. That is, if I stand in place, then they are fairly constant. Also, I've never seen Agent Updates at over 60! Is that real? I've gone back several times today and it just baffles me. I've got a hot machine 2GB RAM P4 3.6GH, NVidea6600 w/256MB. I'm getting great performance most everywhere else. Earlier today, in Selby I saw my ping times go above 2 and 3 seconds which I haven't seen since I updated my computer. I thought it might be my connection, but I TP'd somewhere else and everything went back to normal. I'm confused. Are there other stats that I could post from the debug menu that would help? I've looked at the Frame Console and there's some interesting things there, but I don't understand what it means. Looks like it's spending a lot of its time in UpdateMove. When things are good, that goes almost to zero. Suggestions?

Maybe it's not just Selby. I just had similar problems in Leda. Then, I TP'd home to Sedig and after 30 seconds or so everthing returned to normal. Here's a look at what I'd consider normal stats for my configuration.

That sim has alot of active scripts, (run tasks) pretty much eating up all the resources for the sim , time to start cleaning them. Active listeners, things that constantly sensor are the things you want to get rid of. Alot of furniture makers still use open listeners, really need to change that, touch/||linkmessage furnitures are the one you want to have, not one you say "show/hide" in open chat.

I agree that it has a lot of active scripts, but that isn't enough to explain the problem. If you look at my second post, I have a screen shot of the stats in Sedig. That sim is more loaded and yet my client performance is "normal".

It's not the sim. It appears to be the return of an old bug - the object update stall.

In those initial two screenshots, the server is fine. Your connection doesn't appear to change, and you're actually downloading LESS in the "bad" pick.
The only thing that really changes is your computer's framerate drops.
