Login Failed. Unable to connect to a simulater.

its showing -0- ppl online + not letting me log in

Lindens really should post info on the main/support page once something like this occurs.

What is happening, what they intend to do about it and an estimate before return to service.

it is a tad redictulous that nothing has yet been posted..

that would be relevant if, Alt ao's couldn't log in.

Its only effecting some users,,my wife is on with no problem and i can log in with my alt ao

I only got the message once, but immediately tried again and was able to log in... mind you this was several hours ago.

I dont dare log out to restart my system, but as of now Im on, 9 of my friends are on... I havent tried TP'ing or leaving my store... I've just been standing there afk for most of the evening

its 11:45 PM eastern and have been trying to log on for 6 hours.. cant believe theyd cut all us out before having time to do any last minute stuff before down time. C'mon Lindens!!!!!!

hmm, what region are ya'll logged into?

also, it might not be a problem with the login, but a dns problem with the login server *shrugs*

OK, I can login fine but when I do, it shows 0 Online!!! Anyone else having this issue among the zillions of other issues SL has? I am just getting so fed up with all this!!!!!!
Also, I have mapping priveledges for my honey, but when i go to Map and Friends, he doesnt show on it?????
Oh and I rezzed a poseball last night and it has just disappeared! It never appeared when i rezzed yet it disappeared from my inventory and hasnt been returned to my inventory as of yet???? Can anyone help me with this????
Damn, SL is just going to the dogs! It's as if they only screw things up worse and never fix anything, EVER. Now they want to add more goodies instead of fixing the damn game; making it even remotely PLAYABLE??????? Why? This makes no DAMN SENSE!!

Jeeze atleast im not the only one... well this is bewildering. I would just think that the IO of the land that ppl were on wouldent work but apprearently the whole damn LI system is down. At first i thought it was my memory or mother board. but both of those came up clear as a polished diamond. Then thought it was my connection so i did a scan of the Dsl and internet and then to see if the USB was attatched completly or not. Then i found this. Man Linden has seariouse issues. If they keep this up there will be more laggs than trying to run this stupid game on '98. Or an Apple Computer. No offence to the company.

what seems to have happened is SLs computer crashed, sims and accounts are down at the moment. I dont think they know yet but I am sure someone will rush onto is ASAP. Cause I dont think they wanna piss people off too much. Although I know you are all mad, but neither I nor my friends can get in either and our SIM is completely offline.

It also ruined a party I was planning all day long. So I guess now you cant have partied planned for tues weds and thurs cause they will just mess their stuff up on either of those days.

I truley feel sorry for everyone who cant get on. I know it sucks so badly.

i been trying for 2 hours i give up it pisses me off that i cant call after 6slt because nobody there so what can we do. oh well its after 6 they all go home we are screwed. Im a Sim owner and i own many other lands and not beibg able to logg in Hurts!!!

that is why they should have means of contacting a linden or getting live help back again lol then I'm sure they would find out faster

wow.. I finally downloaded the last update.. 1.16 and it never got to log in....lol I thought I messed something up..

Me too. Tries logging in and just sits and finally 'unable to connect to a simulator'. Not my pc or network issue, just this account. my friend's account works great on my pc.

Thanks.... cant believe this.. seems to always happen after working hours.. since theres a rollout tomorrow.. they'll probably just get it going when they are ready to restart tomorrow afternoon.
