crash & update

i have problems with the auto updating system. when i try to download sl crashes that moment and wont let me download. I have deactivated all my firewalls.

plz help!

Since I installed the update, when I go to click on something to edit it, I almost always crash. it seems to work like this for me - I enter a new sim, I click to edit, i crash. When I come back I can click everything and edit fine. When I teleport to a new sim and click to edit, I crash again and on restart it's fine.

I tried reinstalling SL from scratch, but that didn't correct it. I tried installing SL on 3 other pcs here and I get the same problem. All with different configurations and everything is updated or at where it should be (some drivers have mem leaks and I work on games for a job so I know which is working and which is not.)

Aside from all that I didn't even have this problem until this update. I'm never getting an optional update again though I'll just wait.

I can't down load the bloody thing either and neither can anyone else that I have talked to. Thank goodness for that because I hear there are too many problems with it. Will just wait until tomorrow and see what happens with that one.
