From: Ranya Palmer how can i change my IP number ?(if its possible) You could change the MAC which your modem or nic tells when ISP asks it. Windows can supposedly fake it without changing nic and at least some modems allow you to change it from settings. Whether this works or not may depen on what settings your ISP is using in their network. Oh, and if you try to change it write old one down to some paper before you do anything (just in case). Supposedly some ISP use mac to "lock" your connection to you and if it changes you need to call customer support for new "locking". |

It seems out of all these people with money who play SL that someone who cares about customer service would be able to buy out SL or create a pseudo-replica of it and give us the game we all deserve to have....as far as customer service goes. I hate hearing stories like this....makes my blood boil. Their promise to make customer service better was a false one. It sounds like it's worse than ever. I have tons of friends I'd love to turn on to SL....from another game....but the customer service makes me ashamed to so I don't.
