I continue to get the 1.6.6 download off the site as well as when I log in and get the update message. I downloaded it earlier at work without any problems. Anyone else having this problem?

Same here. Sucks.. The auto-update AND the web site are delivering v 1.6.6.

wonderds what this update was supposed to do hum i dont see a change
cept the Tp got a lot worse but thats all i noticed, its just like an old isshue now Log on issue, with a added bonus, Tp issues and sim issues  |

When you are about to install SL client again it says what they did
Second Life 1.6.9(4) Jul 22, 2005 ================================= * Preemptive fix for potential client exploits * Optimized the retrieval of images from asset server * Fixed a bug to reduce the occurrences of extraneous simulators * Added script controls to the tools menu * Offered items now disclose their owner They where patching it to the login stress test at sunday, cause they want to try to have 5000+ people logged in at once, we all know, they know tp are borked as hell, but its one of the pri things they want to fix but is alot more complicated then they thought.
