Clothing not rezzing properly

Basicly, clothing (shirts, pants and shoes) will not rez in. I and other toons around me all look either naked or naked with there clothing color but no detail whatso ever. Items like watches and rings all work fine....all drivers are up to dat, any ideas?

Seriously though. It could be many things, mostly client side. The type of graphics card you have (and how much video RAM), how much system RAM you have, the speed of your hard drives (and virtual memory) and even your network speed.

Try turning down some settings in SL... in fact I'd go so far as to set everything to minimum (yeah I know it'll look crap) and draw distance to 64. If that helps at all, then you can work on a compromise setup.

Failing that, post your system specifications here and an army of helpful (and otherwise) posters will swoop on the thread with advice and probably criticisms. In any case... we'll get to the bottom of it somehow.

Here are a couple of things you might try.
