Logged out by SL, can't get back in

Hi
I'm in the UK, was on SL and got a message saying region logging out at about 10:15am GMT, and ever since then I've been unable to log back in, although the grid status is showing SL is open and there is no announcement on the blog.

Has anybody else got this problem? Desperate to get back.....

This seems to be a common problem for UK players between the hours of 7 and 11 pm.

Well I've uninstalled and reinstalled my firewall, uninstalled and reinstalled SL, cleared my cache, tried to login to another region (plum) and still get the message "Unable to Connect to Second Life the system may be down please try again in a few minutes" - aaaarrrggghhh!!!

Grid status still shows open, nothing on the blog, I've sent an email to support but don't know what else to do.

Guess I'll have to try real life for a while and hope I can get in later.... waaaaahhhh!!!!

Found another wierdness in SL how to log on when i get some of these blabla msgs.

Log in with a alt (take about <1min to make one lame)
msg the character youre stuck with, suddely it says "offline",
then log in with the one stuck

Reminds me of ghosted characters stuck in system "logging out" , till someone message and system realise they arent there and let you log back in.

"Unable to log in right now system is logging you off right now"
.... yeh i forgot the other ones dont really read those msgs at all anymore ~.~


(tho im in norway with no limit up/download isp, so might not count for others)
