The Lindens have ruined my life too!!
Because of my inability to log into Second Life I've been forced to find alternative means of entertainment! I tried going outside but found that my pasty white skin has been getting darker! NOOO I want my pale skin back! Damn you Lindens give me my pale skin back. AND OMG!!! I've had to deal with society at large. People are some of the dirtiest organisms on the face of the planet. How dare you subject me to the REAL WORLD?!
I demand a refund! I demand that the Lindens get rid of my tan! I demand that they give me anti-biotics! I demand that they give me the money I've been forced to spend on pornos while I've been waiting to log in!

If you have a friend in SL (that's a real person in RL) you can like him/her, hate, miss him/her. If someone gets sick in RL, and you don't see his avi, it's not the avi you are worried about, it's the RL person. And if someone can be less shy in SL and maybe make relations or friendships here, he/she will sure be said if he/she can't meet his/her friend, lover, etc. Still, it's not the end of the world, but maybe this weekend would been good for some social activities to some in SL. And just saying 'get a life' (meaning: live as I THINK is right) is just rude! |

Hmm, with SL having lots of login problems, I tried to go back to my "first life" but ended up spending the night in some kind of TP-disallowed area called a "jail." Seems that in the first life, you can't go around right-clicking on random people's faces to see their profiles or friend them... Also, all attempts to put my car into my backpack after driving to the store weren't very successful. I'm not sure how it got out of there... I don't want it taking up prims on my land! Please help, I've been yelling "show" at my couch and "activate" at my TV for the last hour but they just won't let me lounge or turn on! First life is the suxx0rs. |

and being autistic doesn't mean that you'll have difficulty spelling. Actually, the reality and stereotype -- which there is truth to -- is that autistic spectrum conditions are commonly comorbid (combined) with hyperlexia: being good with words. People with autism may have frustration interacting with others due to NONVERBAL learning disorders, social difficulties, and inability to understand "common sense" or body language. This too, can be improved over time. I have a lot to thank the community of SL for that.

None of you will leave, i would bet on it. 99.9% of you will still be here even if it takes a month. You spend outragiouse amounts of money to play this game and spend countless hours on it so logging on to this game becomes second nature. Lindens know this and thats why they can get away with treating you like shit and thats why most liason's in game dont do their job.

Did you try sit hacking your way out? Sit hacking works on everything!! Also when you were yelling show at your couches, did you try a different channel? Sometimes crafty coders will put their commands in a different channel. Did you also notice your dance animations being broken? Hope this helps... this is after all the Technical Issues Forum

I dont know what Tyler's RL situation is but I DO KNOW that SL has a very large number of people who are handicapped, housebound, or otherwise limited as subscribers. I can imagine that if I were housebound and had no other social life that I could get pretty freakin bummed about missing a whole weekend of SL. How each of us deal with this is naturally going to be different, but I think it might be a bit shortsighted to criticize someone who is taking it hard. We all have huge disappointments on ocassion, and most of the time, we live. =)
