Buffer overrun

I keep getting this message when trying to log in:

Buffer overrun detected!
Program :C:/Program files/Secondlife/Secondlife.exe

A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the programs internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must be terminated.


I tried reinstalling and seemed to work but after relogging get this message again.Any ideas what this is and how to fix it ?

Some other people (including my partner) are seeing this - here's the other two main threads:

The first one has a good definition but, in short, it's hard to tell exactly what's wrong without direct LL support. You could try updating/downdating drivers..
