Okay, over the past few weeks, there have been major log in issues with SL.
Firstly I keep getting the ban message at the end of every weekend and usually cant log on from sunday evening till around monday evening when LL get off their butts and get into work.
Now today after the reset, I get the, "Despite our Best Efforts" Message. This kinda of issue is what is going to cripple Secondlife when the competition finally hits the market.
Anyway, is anyone else having issues or just me.

I can login in www.secondlife.com/account, but I can't login in SL today.
Yesterday all worked normally. I found message on blog.secondlife.com: "10:57 PDT - Experiencing Network Issues Friday, May 4th, 2007 at 11:01 AM PDT by: claudialinden We are currently experiencing network issues. Some residents may have log-in difficulties. We are aware of the problem and we are working to solve it. We will post updates frequently until the problem is solved." |

I'm always a bit skeptical when they say "SOME residents MAY have log-in difficulties". Is this a Euro network issue? Particular carriers?
Can anyone actually log in? |

Hmm I've answered my own question. The grid figures seem to fluctuate from 19,000 down to 9,000 and back up to 13,000. So it looks like some people can log in.
I wouldn't mind a bit more information from LL though, but maybe that's me being a geek. I don't take customer-service-speak too well ^^ |

I do hope this isnt LL's idea of stabilizing the grid :/ What a load of horse crap the Town Hall meeting was last night, all just PR rubbish. I'm not gonna bother trying to log in till its "resolved" Don't want even more invo losses

It will take about anywhere from 5-20min to log in, and its not fun in here right now, inventory take forever to load, tp works sometimes, so save yourself the trouble and dont bother with SL the next hours.

[12.34 am] The network issues may now be affecting logins and teleports between approximately 2400 regions. The operations team are very aware of this and are working hard to resolve this issue.

once again they've messed it up.
I spent at least 40 mins trying to login then got to the korean welcome area with lots of gray bods all lagged out so basically SL is down - why don't they admit this? dkfmldksfj qmsiu fmsfk I'd like to swear very loudly in a certain linden's face |

heh i was actually in that area a few min ago, yes its not loading a single person so i flew over to a sim i though was less traffic in, but still nothing will rez/attach, and pending download just keep on climbing up and up causing tp to be impossible cause of that.
 hirrr, LL just shut down the grid already , theres bound to be to many who's trying to log in and causing even more trouble. |

yep, when both top-right-corner-bars disappear i know trouble is coming. then i log out to never get in .. very bad for sales.
the tier due dates should move forward every time the grid is "unable". |
