Logging in

Is it just me or has there been many times since 1.7 that logging in has been problematic?

'Splain more... I've been havin' some login problems too but I wanna see if they match up.

Well yeah I am new to SL it is a superb online place but there have been many people join lately if they have trouble logging on, updates and things just are not stable they will leave again as soon as they came.

Not trying to be a pain just saying what I think.

A good game has a form of a addiction / obsession to it. If people don't get their fix or cant rely on it they will stray. Fact of life.

Every time they try to log in and get burned is a count against SL.

Pix, please go on... you said "logging in has been problematic". Howso? Do you have a certain problem where you try to login and it won't let you, so you quit SL and restart it (maybe a few times) and THEN it works? And it doesn't seem to correlate to the actual length of any login queue?

have been trying to get on for about an hour and a half, recent history has taught me that when that happens - in a bit I will get a message about an update there will be a large download and once downloaded I will be alright for a few days.

It could entirely be me but if that was a regular occurance to the majority of users eventually it would bite.

I have nothing against Linden I wish them the best, just a bit frustrated that my new toy seems to be tempremental.

I'm having the same prblm. It's like the queue is bumping me out really quickly, and for no real reason I can see. It's kinda weird.

It's like, 2/3 times currently, seems like my logins aren't connecting. I quit SL, restart it, and THEN I can login. Very oddish.

I'm a bit closer to 19/20, but there is an awesome spider thing on the discovery channel.. so I'm not too worried!

I'm having the same problem. My login issues didn't begin until 11/16 and it took me an hour and a half to get in the game. Yesterday, I spent three hours trying to get in game. I'm working with SL to resolve the issue and hopefully it will get resolved before the holidays. If you haven't reported your login issue, please do so.

I surely will, once I do a lot more testing (and logging in, so to speak) to find out what exactly my odds are here. I uninstalled and reinstalled and that didn't help. I'm just really, really curious who else has been experiencing this... and to boot, WHY?
