I am getting the following message when trying to logon (at the 'waiting for response' stage).
It started today (last successful logon 22 hours ago, I have been trying for the last 2 hours).
It occurs on two different PCs.
I get the impression there is 1.6.3 version, but my logon panel says 1.6.2 (I don't get as far as 'you better upgrade mate!')
After the message I click ok and am left at the logon screen

Any suggestions?

I am having the same issue.
Please, someone shed some light on this issue - my system clock is just fine. Is there a way to tell the login server "No, my time is right, just let me log in!"???

I am having this to i had 1.62 and i just upgraded to 1.63 thinking it might fix it. WTF does the clock have to do with this issue anyways it makes no sense at all.

I too am getting this "unable to establish a secure connection" error which tells me to check my clock settings, which are correct.

UPDATE:

I'm getting this error on my PC with 1.6.3 and also on my Mac with 1.6.2. Oddly enough the PC gave the 1.6.3 update before giving me the error -- I can't get that far with the Mac.

Perhaps this isn't client related?

I was able to log on previously with 1.3, at around 5:30 GMT. Now I am having this issue as well.

Hi all...me too, same issue and my clock is fine.....unless I am stuck in a time warp or something and all the clocks around me are wrong too

There IS a 1.6.3...

and having downloaded it myself i was on successfully for almost 2 hours. I had to relog because of vehicle lag... and now supposedly my clock is set incorrectly...
I'm on a Macintosh by the way and YES I have upgraded to the lastest OS. I have time automatically set by the Apple server: time.apple.com...

This is such Bull crap. I was in the game fine, lagged. Had to reboot the game, then the same error.

WTH!! Just fix the fiiggin problem and save us Lindens yer shamfull excuses...

Same here, I just lagged out, now I get unsecure connection. Also since the update.. i've had the problem of AV's dissapearing and I cant see them for long periods of time.. also the textures and prims have sometimes either not even loaded *and i had to relog to fix* or they'll load funky, all distorted and miscolored and super slow- then they finally straighten out. But i've been playing all day today.. and now I get the unsecure connection error.

btw the graphical errors aren't of any fault to my computer lol.. it's the game.. trust me.

I believe that if you arent in the Sim where the Town Hall is taking place that it shouldnt affect you... I could be wrong

same issue. tp'd to the town hall meeting. tried to fly and something locked up. when i stopped i was in lag hell (with someone else apparently). on relog i get the same issue.

cripe. at least kick me Home. check my clock?
