1)Read tutorials
2)Search for tutorials
3)Learn your art program, learn how to do fabrics, textures.
4)Learn where things go on UV (avpainter helped me see it in 3d)
5)Practice, Practice, Practice and then whole lot more Practice,
then do more Practice.
Most of all when things go wrong, and they will, take breaks and don't tear out your
hair, you'll just get bald spots. LOL
But remember to try again when you've calm down or try something else.

And don't forget to just fiddle and experiment. Some of the best outfits are made unintentionally.

Welcome Nory!

Well I use GIMP but with any program make lots of layers.

I make a layer just for my wrinkles, and another just for shading.

That way if I mess up I don't have to start ALL over again.

Believe me I'm still learning tons! It's a lot, but it's fun.

Enjoy it!!

That's the sticky thread that covers clothing tutorials. Whenever one of us finds or makes a new clothing tutorial, it goes in that thread.

(If anyone's not put one in yet, go ahead!)
