Why would I need to come back as an alt? I'd lose all the people who hated me, and that would be a tremendous loss to work back up to it again.

Thanks for offering to judge me impartially, and I'm sure you're well qualified to do so, but I have no need for your judgement.

I've been resisting the temptation to post in this thread so as not to feed the troll, in the hope that the thread would die of natural causes, but that doesn't seem to be happening. I've had my differences with Cottonteil before, but I had always respected her as a competent fellow artist until this thread. To post instructions for getting around permissions, and then to say "who cares," is reprehensible, to say the least. Sure, it's no secret that any and all data destined for your monitor or your speakers or any other output device can be extracted in a hundred different ways, but just because it CAN be done doesn't mean you should go around advertising it, and you certainly shouldn't be publishing instructions how, regardless of whether or not you think the particular method in question is easy. It's wrong, and you know it, and that's all the reason you need not to talk about it.

Okay, I've said my peace (sort of; there's a lot more I'd like to say, but I won't). I'm out of this thread. I would suggest that those who are still in it back out as well, and allow it to drop off the front page. Continuing to reply keeps the thievery instructions in the spotlight, which I'm sure is not what most of us want.
