Sometimes just a borked SL, happens to some people from time to time. Wait a while and try again later.

Yeah, an identical problem was reported in a thread back in November ...

/109/a9/293553/1.html .

It was SL having problems, and it went away spontaneously. Patience.

There is no such option as "Upload Texture (L$10)" -- Upload Image is what you use for textures.

Betty's right. Upload Image is the way it's supposed to be. There's no such thing as Upload Texture.

Remember, a texture is simply an image applied to a surface. When it's sitting on your hard drive, waiting to be uploaded, it's simply an image file. It doesn't become a texture until you put it on a surface, just like it wouldn't become a print until you put it on a piece of paper, or wouldn't become a Web graphic until you put it on a Web page. An image is an image is an image. Purpose-specific definitions like "texture" are secondary.
