(skirts created in a sand box has not problem). where do i get a script to make the customer pay me and also transfer this content of clothes to them?

I use an excellent vendor system created by Hiro. It is easy to add items to, easy for customers to use, and easy for you to get sales info from. He also has great documentation. Best of all, it's FREE. You can get it from Hiro's Shop and Dojo on the Varney sim. I can't easily get in world right now to get the exact SLURL for you, but it should be easy enough to find, given that much information.
I don't understand the problem you are having with shirts, BTW. You ought to be able to drag and drop a shirt from inventory directly into the Contents tab when you have your Edit window open for the box you are putting things in. If that's not working, you may just be trying to work in SL on a bad server day. It happens, believe it or not. |

You don't need a script to sell a box. Just set it for sale on the first tab of the Edit menu. Make sure you set a price and check that the permissions are what you want.
Do you want the buyer to be able to copy the item, but not give it away. Or be able to give it to friends, but not able to copy it. Should they be able to modify it or not? Finally, check whether you want to sell: the original - only if it is a one-off piece - checking this will make the actual item vanish when the customer buys it and picks it up, so not used much copy - the customer gets an exact copy of the box, which they can go home and unpack, and your 'original' stays put for the next customer to use contents - the customer gets a folder intheir inventory which contains the contents of your box. As before, the original stays put for the next customer It is important to get this right or you could loose sales, money or products. If you want any further help, don't hesitate to IM me ingame. Good luck with your sales ![]() _____________________

Hi ryusho! I think the problem with the shirts might be that you're editing someone else's shirts. I'm guessing this from the phrase "i use my own texture edited under the appearance mode."
In order to make a shirt that has you as the creator, and that you can set the permissions for and so on, you need to make a New shirt, and put the texture on that, not edit a shirt you have. To do that, go into Appearance with no shirt on, and click the Create New Shirt button. The new shirt that is made will be yours, with your name as Creator. Put your texture on that, and you'll be fine. (If you don't want to go shirtless, you can also right click in your Inventory, on the folder where you want the shirt to be, and choose New Clothes > New Shirt from the menu, wear the New Shirt, go into Appearance, and put your texture on it. You have to use that method to make New Body Parts (skin, eyes, etc.) but I find it faster to just not wear the thing when I need a New one.) Of course, after you've made the first New thing, you can edit your own clothing to make more clothing. It will inherit the permissions of the clothing you're making, so it can be a real time saver. Hope this helps! _____________________

You don't need a script to sell a box. Just set it for sale on the first tab of the Edit menu. Make sure you set a price and check that the permissions are what you want. Yup, that's true, and you can decorate your box any way you like to advertise what's in it. Texture it with a picture of your shirt, for example. If you are trying to sell more than one shirt, though, and each one is in its own box, you'll end up with a hefty stack of shirt boxes to sell before you know it. THAT's when you need to consider using a vendor like the one I suggested earlier. A vendor holds many boxes, allows the buyer to flip through pictures of them, select the one she wants, and then collect the money and record the sale. |
