Marmo, if you need to do this again, there's a way that doesn't involve any toolboxes or palettes;
1. Open the Linden Template, as Chosen explained, and position your image. 2. Tap the D key, and then the X key. That sets the background color to black. 3. Tap Command/ctrl N to make a New document. 4. In the dialog that opens, type 512 into both the Width and Height boxes, and set the Background Contents to Background Color from the drop down menu there. Leave everything else at the default settings. You'll get a new document, with a solid black background. 5. Click on the window of the Template document to make it active, the way you would in any other program that allows multiple windows. 6. Go to the Layer menu, and choose Duplicate Layer. (It's second from the top, probably.) 7. In the dialog that opens, you'll see Destination at the bottom, and a drop down menu labeled Document. Choose "Untitled-n" from the menu, to select the new document you made. Click OK. (The n will be a number, but it depends on how many untitled documents you have, so I don't know what the number will be. Probably 1.) 8. Click on the new document, which will now have your image in place, to make it active. 9. Go to the File menu, and choose Save As... Select targa from the drop down menu next to Format (at the bottom,) and click Save. In the next dialog, choose 24 bit. 10. Upload to SL. If you follow those instructions exactly, you'll have your t-shirt. It won't look as good as one that uses an Alpha channel, but you also won't have to worry about Alpha Channels. (There's one included in the file I sent you to. Let me know when you decide you're ready to use it, and I'll give you step by step for it. (By the way, I'm not a Dude, I'm a Grandmother. ![]() It's important that you use the Linden templates, or some other template that's 512x512, however, or you'll have to resize it, (which isn't included in the instructions.) I apologize for thinking that you had an idea of how to use graphics software. It was an unwarranted assumption on my part. But I'm curious; how did you open the document and see the layers before you had Photoshop? Or were you looking at the instructions? Edited to remove annoyed and snippy tone, once I'd had some sleep, and realized it was Marmo's first day in world. I apologize, Marmo, that was rude of me. _____________________

Chosen, you are one of the many fine people who make Second Life an exceptional place to be. Thank you.

Also we might want to point out the links to many Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Corel Draw, GIMP, and other tutorials at the top of this section. Just so folks knw they dont have to go to school for this stuff ![]() Reminds me of some new people I was helping with building in the sandbox areas. Heh! I should be teaching! _____________________
