For a wire. I'm making something with wire to sell, and the wire part has to be smaller than .01. I figure alpha textures for wire must exist, else how would people make jewelry? I've looked around texture shows but not found a simple, straight wire. Any advice?

Depending on what your doing, you can probably make a prim smaller than .01 using the method described here.
