I use just design the fabric wrapped around shoulder and little lower
around the back and put some lines so it looks gathered.
It takes a lot of practice and experiments where to bunch the fabric up in.
I am still struggling bit but it helps to know how to do fabrics, to know the placement
of different colored fabrics and the lines. After I got fabric layers that I have made
then I upload them in avpainter helps then erasing certain layers to have multiple fabric layers show through but I am still struggling with level transparency and shading for the lines and shadows.
Having sense of wear things begin on the hoodie, where to put shadows also
helps if you can see it 3D in the template..
Most hoodies though I have seen in world are prim or sculpted prims that
are in stores.

The first thing to do is to search the archive of this forum to see whether someone else has already asked the question. Type the word "hoodie" as your keyword. The first of several threads that pops up is this one from last March.... /109/8f/244814/1.html. Good luck!

Actually, it's not. There are exactly 6 threads listed if you type in "hoodie," and one of them is this one. I gave you the URL for the most recent one before it. I could have listed the other four, but I figured it would be more help to you if I simply pointed you to the forum's search.

Again, good luck.

Search can be bit confusing at first for some users. It still is sometimes for me.
There is always going to be people who will point out how it is in search they must have
a special search engine that works just for them because it doesn't always work for me either.
After a while when you've been around for while and can't find things yourself you just
quit asking and focus on what you can do.

Nonsense. You don't need any special engine. Look at the upper right hand corner of the page in this forum. See the words "Search This Forum"? Click them. There's a box. Type in a keyword like"hoodie." Click the word "GO." How hard can that possibly be?

If you want to search ALL forums (not just this one), look at the banner at the top of the page. See the word "Search"? It works the same way.

And what if you're already in a really long thread and you want to find something in the thread itself? Again, look at the top of the page. See the words "Search This Thread?"

Forum archives are full of GREAT information (and some dumb stuff :p ) and they are VERY easy to search. There's never any harm in asking a question that may have been answered dozens of times before. Who knows? Someone might have a cool new answer. On the other hand, why not take the time to see what great answers might already be in the HUGE forum archives, especially when it's really easy to do?

Rollig or anyone else who just wants to just point out the same old thing and not give helpful advise.
Can do a favor for those of us struggling if you just want to criticize please do something else?
It is very insensitive and disrespectful to those who are new, confused and/or
struggling.
It may be easy for you but it isn't easy for everyone else.
If you're tired of answering question then do something else.
Unless you just like talking down to other people to improve your importance
then go for it.
I shouldn't care but I do this will be last time I waste my time saying this because as
many times as respondent about answering same questions over and over again when they aren't REQUIRED to do so other then to come off sounding like bitter people with no life who are rude, moan about those who don't know the same thing about how to find what they want in search.
I guess you guys have just forgotten or were blessed with extreme degree of genius to never been confused, lost, didn't know how to do things or find things and lack any sense of sensitivity because you know everything and never had issues with search.
Great, good for you!
Go a head and gloat. Aren't you special. I hope you feel proud of yourself. You carry such a big burden having to help those of us who can't figure out all the things you can with your big giant wondrous brains.
If you're new and can't figure out search in Forum use Google.
While there are helpful people here. There is 50/50 chance if you ask
for help you will ridiculed, ignored or may find the information or you may not be
able to comprehend it if answered or won't know how to ask so no one will understand what you're trying to do if you're a beginner.
Don't waste your time asking for help in Texture forum.
Go find basic information about the art program you're using elsewhere or
practice, explore and make lot of mistakes like I have and be appreciative if you
make a friend who shares texture making tips with you.

See the words "Search This Thread?

Thanks Rolig, I have always read through whole threads after searching for a topic. Just shows you how easily you can miss something.

Well, now that I've learned something new, I'll go a-searching!

*hop, skipping and jumping towards the search link*

YW, Anyanka. As I said before, there's never any harm in asking a question that someone else might have asked before. There's LOADS of valuable information already in the archives, too, and I'm glad that I've been able to help you find it. Good luck with future searches. :)
