In a day or two (hopefully), I'll be unveiling a new service in the Second Life world that I hope will be quite useful and fun for everyone.

However, part of what I need, I don't yet have the knowledge for. As part of my plan, I want to include a directory of really cool places from all around the Second Life world. Anything -- from jet ski rentals (if such a thing exists) to amusement parks to serene lakeside getaways to beautiful mountain resorts to goth havens -- qualifies.

So if you have a personal favorite in the way of places to hang out around Second Life, please post it here, or email me at jfitzdela@gmail.com

Thanks a bunch!

You should probably include the sim of Rizal. There are many Linden made games there, even laser tag!

Can't tell ya just yet. I'm ironing out some of the details and plans as we speak. HOPEFULLY I'll have an announcement today though!

Thanks for the help all!

I got a sneak peek at this service, and color me impressed! It looks like something that could be quite fun for SLers and a breath of fresh air for the community. :-)

A scripted thing that lets you define a traveling party, then handles teleporting the party around.

Just guessin'.

Selling "A Griefer's Guide to Good Places To Spoil Things At"?

Oh, I guess that is the events list and the event guide at slboutique.com.

Which reminds me, I don't believe I have tried that yet.

Good luck with your new service - I just wanted to point out it's not affiliated with SLuniverse.com (and the corresponding secondlifeuniverse.com) at all.

Well thank goodness for that, I hear tell that sluniverse.com is the headquarters of the notorious #secondlife gang, you know, the one you see all the time in the police blotter reports. :p

SL Botanical Gardens in Federal.

5 waterfalls, 2 rivers, a lake, pathways to wander, lots of little spaces for chatting/relaxing/meditating, kiss pose balls in the upper waterfall/pool for romantic moments....

I like Fate Gardens in the NE corner of Taber and the interior of the Sutherland dam. I like to just go sit inside the dam and chat, code et cetera because it's such a pleasant atmosphere.

Thanks again for all the help! I've got an excellent list of places for people to choose from to date/do business/whatever through SLPersonals. As well, I'm going to add location submission functionality to keep it fresh.

Blessings,
Tlanuwa
