LOL! Just reading about "Gor Tours" put an image in my mind.
In Pittsburgh there's a touring company called 'Just Ducky Tours'. They drive you around the city NOT in a tour bus, but in a WW2 amphibious troop carrier. Now you're wondering why, right? Well, as part of the tour, they drive off the city streets & into the rivers. Then you get a tour of the city from all 3 rivers at the Point. Quite a sight to see going through the city, then BLOOP! Right into the rivers and over to the other side. I'm just picturing this amphibious troop carrier loaded with avatars driving all over Gor sims.  |

Wow.. Just wow..
I have to say what an interesting trip.. I know some of you were hoping I would be collared and not able to post.. but they threw me back saying ewww pink hair! or as Jeremiah says shirmp hair.. -.- lol Ok, special thanks goes to the following people: Mewkas Pyle, Brock Mostel, and Namur Bamatter We all exchanged friendships So anyways.. This is it, at first it was a bit boring not alot of people, no one accosted us, everyone was polite.. Port Cos has wonderful shopping btw. We ended up at Port Kar, and they were pretty insisitent on the visitor tags, but they were very hospitable. We got to see Mewkas serve!!! Great job Mewkas. Stuff we talked about was the "Masters" that were cruel to a slave that didn't want to be there. It was explained that they DO police their own and the word spreads like wildfire.. so you Masters out there watch your p's and q's cause they are checkign their list twice to see who is naughty or nice..  So basically, it was no big deal, no asses, no wierd talking where i couldn't understand or anything... So.. they are ok in my book |

Well, I was able to tag along to Port Kar. I have to say that before, I really didn't know anything at all about this, but they were all very nice to let us sit in on a "serve". I'll admit something like this wouln't be for everyone, but hey....to each their own. I don't walk around looking like a hoochie in rl like I do in sl so hey...who would I be to judge? Personally....I was thinking "MASTER my avie Ass" I don't THINK so!!!
But I love to hear about others lifestyles, even if it's not something that I personally would do. In rl my best friend from high school and her husband are players/swingers....sooo NOT for me, but I like hearing about SOME of their escapades...it just amazes me...I'm just a curious kind of gal.....ANYWAY..... It was all good, no weirdo shackling me to the dungeon wall or anything! Thank you to all the ppl of Pot Kar for letting a newbie sit in for awhile. |
