Hi is anyone else have problems following the upgrade

The animations at my club are not working and the dance balls appear not to work.

Had one message server down, but finally got back here but problems remain

Thanks in advance

I'm getting similar reports. The dance balls are not working at our new club, and neither are the teleporters or the music URL switchers. We're supposed to have our grand opening tomorrow. What gives, LL?

My "Club Dance" system was giving the following error:

[12:03] Club Dance!: Script trying to trigger animations but PERMISSION_TRIGGER_ANIMATION permission not set

I did a 'reset' of the machine using the trigger command, and it seems to have fixed it. A similar action on your machine, whatever it is, may be sufficient.

A way to reset all your balls (or ANY scripted items in general) at once:

Right click a single ball, go into EDIT.

Go to TOOLS ---> SELECT ONLY MY OBJECTS

Zoom your camera out as far as it will go

Left click on land or sky in the upper left hand side of your screen and drag the mouse (creating a multi-select yellow box) and select the whole screen (this will select all of your objects within screen-view

Go to TOOLS ---> RESET SCRIPTS IN SELECTION

Hopefully, this will help. If it doesn't, select 'em all again, and try, TOOLS ---> RECOMPILE SCRIPTS IN SELECTION. :)

Regards,

-Flip

That should actually be Ctrl-8 and Ctrl-9, respectively. :)

The problem is that whenever the sim restarts, objects are losing their "state." This includes texture animation loops and sit points. Reseting them is a good temp fix, but you will have to do it again if the sim restarts.

I can't "reset scripts" at all unless I select the individual prim the script is in. Like a chair -- I have to select the invisible poseball ALL BY ITSELF and then it will reset. If I select the whole chair, I get an error saying I have an invalid selection.

This update is bullshit.
