Linden Responses?

How long is a reasonable time to wait for a linden to respond to an email or IM (while they are online)?
Do you ever feel your questions or concerns are purposely ignored by a Linden?
If so what do you do?

If you continue to email a Linden and send them IM's in world and after 2 months do not get a response... what would YOU do?

P.S. Speaking to another Linden doesn't help cus they always send you back to the same non responding Linden

Usually I get an instant response, but I've had to wait over 3 minutes. They are getting bombarded by IMs now, and usually have work to do, that I keep patient.


I don't think any Linden would purposely ignore someone, and there's no way to prove that they are unless someone else asks the same question, at the same time, and they get it answered.


Hmm, sounds like you're upset about something, what's up? What I would do is ask a different Linden.

Chuckles...try this one. I sent a Private Message to a Linden about a issue. That Linden responded quickly saying he/she did not handle that area, but had forwarded it to another Linden that did.....been waiting 2 weeks + for response from that Linden.

I am not upset.. I just want an answer....
and I added in my original post that I have tried asking a different Linden, and they always send me back to the original one

What was the question? Is it something one of us could answer?

The real problem is that those that have time to answer the more meaningful questions do not have the authority to do so, and those with the authority to do so, don't have the time.

Ok here is the situation..
I applied to be a VOLUNTEER nearly 3 months ago, about 3-4 weeks later I was sent an email saying I was denied with no explanation what so ever, so the same day I emailed that Linden asking why , they said I did not have a good rap sheet with the Lindens... so I immediatley emailed back asking what I did, and what I can do to fix it... I also explained that I have never been suspended or in trouble with the Lindens that I can recall.. No reply... resent the email 4 times and tried contacting them in world at least a dozen times since then, NO RESPONSE!

Now this is really beginning to bother me, I have been in SL 2 years and to my knowledge have not been in any trouble, I have been trying to do things to keep me interested in such as volunteer and I am denied????? and no one will tell me what I did so bad that I can't help people for free and during my free time... But yet there are volunteers that have violated copy rights, that sell freebie items to new players, that are SL hookers and God knows what else lol... UGH!

I thought you were too smart to work for free? This post make me sad.

Maybe they don't need anymore help, and told you that as a generic response. I'd call their office and ask.

I've tried that! This Linden wont get on the phone and when I talk to someone else they saythey will get back to me......

For the record (since Lektor gave names already lol) I have also spoke to Lee 4 or 5 times about this, on the phone and via IM, and he tells me he will let Jeska know, still nothing

I was so mad that one day I ran into the LL offices with a gun. I was going to grab Philip and threaten him if I didn't recieve some answers from somebody. Trouble is, there was already several people there before me with guns. I just left in the end. I hate waiting in queues.

I try not to bother Lindens. They have their work to do and I have mine. We stay out of each other's way and it works well
I only contact a Linden personally as a last resort.
