For an actual gun I'm pretty fond of my Seburo Compact Exploders, but for weapons in general I'd have to say MeteorStrike HUD and Oblivion. MeteorStrike is the best shield piercer in combat sims and Oblivion is the strongest push weapon I've seen to date.

Yeah, I have been looking for good guns for a while and the best I have found are the Seburo Compeact Exploders. Good damage, allow you to select different loads, firing rates, and can attach scopes, silencers and laser sights. I have yet to find better, tho I would love to hear other peoples opinions on this.

OT - CFS01 "Jahi"
03-05-2006 11:07
For an actual handheld prim based weapon as opposed to phased agent seeking 'ghod' bullet, I'd go with Anisa Naumova's Outland Tech CFS01 "Jahi" assault rifle machine-gun/rail gun combo.
Very realistic associated animations (from reloading to a actual working crouch firing animation). Loads of customizable features from colour, logo, to even a nick name for it. Slung an unslung, adjustable straps, two hud attachments that give you a running display ammo available or which of the combo is in use (be it rail gun or machine-gun) choice of single shot, short bursts, or full auto. Realistic damage for the normal bullets and one shot one kill for the rail gun (with a very polished and realistic extended firing-load time with an eye towards not "ghod-hood combat who can click the kill button faster"' but realism, very rare in the SL weapons market). Optional laser sights, scopes and a whole bunch more. Really the best gun I've come across in SL to date. You can find that weapon as well as her simply amazing feature packed armour at Outland Tech and Curious Relics. Her new store location. |

Either Man can enjoy universal freedom, or Man cannot. If it is possible then everyone can act freely if they don't stop anyone else from doing same. If it is not possible, then conflict will arise anyway so punch those that try to stop you. In conclusion the only strategy that wins in all cases is that of doing what you want against all adversity, as long as you respect that right in others.

Ok then.., so what if you want to move an avie with serious authority? A friend and I want to have some one-on-wars and we're looking for a gun that'll truly move someone.

I want a gun that'll drop a SIM-SIZED ANVIL n people and squash them into two dimensions.
Anything less is just playing around. |

I want a gun that'll drop a SIM-SIZED ANVIL n people and squash them into two dimensions. Anything less is just playing around. I have a 'mystery pull chain' which drops a piano on an avatar's head from a height when activated. It's great to see people ponder what it might be, try it, and wonder why they get smacked on the head with 300lb of musical instrument. Lewis (WWID) _____________________

Damn....... that was funny.... and impressive.
If you'd care to aim that thing at the laggy sex/camping chair place down the road from me, just to test it of course..... I would love to see that in action. Lewis (WWID) _____________________

I have gun I like to call the Seducer. It's fairly powerful, if the lamentations of it targets are any indicator. Few inworld have seen it and they're never dissappointed. I usually carry it holstered.....

Just got myself the jahi. Thanks for the suggestion memir.
![]() Excellent weapon. Great attention to detail. i think it will replace my seburo, as the seburo has a tendancy to ricochet bullets back and kill me. ![]() Looks great too. |

Abramelin Wolfe made an inworld incarnation of Reason, which, by way of its nod to Snow Crash, makes it perceptibly powerful if you've read the text. I have not been "pushed" by one, however.

The jahi weapon's push doesn't work so well. If an avie is just standing there, it'll push you straight up in the air. It's notecard claims it will push an avie out of a chair easily ~ but it won't for me. I had a friend start a simple dance animation and it wouldn't even move her an inch, and same with sitting.
The weapon is VERY beautiful ~ nicest I've seen by far, and it's sounds are superb. It's a a good weapon, just don't expect much when pushing. |

It has a varible power setting that alters the amount of push. Try setting that and seeing if it doesnt make a difference with a willing test subject. Personally though I've seen it work rather well as to pushes, but its not something I actually look for or value in a weapon. ^.^ |
