:) Linden Snow Ball Fight...was a blast!

Members tried hard to get the Lindens but the deck was stacked against us. Bad boy Brent Linden had this snowball throwing weapon thing that blasted members clear across the sim. Bub Linden was throwing yellow snowballs using some secret snowball weapon called Yoko Ono or something. They used God mode to ward off hits while standing there blasting the poor membership. They sat down to avoid the bounce from the hit. Then many Lindens shouldered snowball weapons they obtained from Brent and members were bouncing everywhere.

Its always a lot of fun when the Lindens take time from their busy schedules to participate in an event with the members, but the best part for me has to be seeing our dearly missed Char and Jeff Linden. And yes, Jeff still has light beams coming from his eyes! :)

I had Char to keep me company on the sidelines last year... she was all active and participatory this year so I could only watch, with my tummy and chin remaining un-rubbed. :>

A Phoenix's life is hard..... :>

ahh, it was sweet, sweet revenge to see Jeska Linden flying after being pummeled with snowballs. Launching the Linden hippo (Blue Linden) was tough due to excessive mass, but fast-click shooting did the trick! A few innocent members got in the way, but fun was had by all! :D

It's over?

Well. I bought mittens for nothing. I'm stuck at work.

It's still going on .

The shield wearing Linden cowards have no honor.

Yes, I shouted out "Cowardy Custards" to them but they were not ashamed. Next year it's Batleths!

I had fun popping Jeska, Data and a few other Lindens with snowballs, and taking a few shots that were well aimed at me.

But I didn't realise how much the Lindens were warping reality on their side and avoiding being pushed, until I went home and tossed a few snowballs at a friend, and was able to bounce her all over the place. No fair, Lindens! I think I only saw one Linden go flying after I hit her, and I know I nailed all the ones I tried to hit!

That's probably just an ordinary shield. Most folks can get those :)

Now if they were using the Linden sensor immunity, then it's time to complain ;)

Yup. I have a shield myself. But I wasn't going to use it in a snowball fight.

I still had fun. But it would have been more fun if I could tell that they actually knew I hit them. As it was, it wasn't very satisfying to see the snowball splat against them and they don't even flinch. I left after a fairly short time. I had much more fun tossing snowballs at a girlfriend later, in my own sim. I gave her a snowball thrower, and we chased each other all around my lot, and had a grand time of it.

I think the one flying linden was me. I looked away from my monitor and when I looked back I wasn't in the same sim anymore.

Those kind of moves are only fun in RL, because you end up naked under the shower together. :p

My apologies for crashing the sim at one point... :(

It wasn't deliberate, I got a bit carried away with my magic wand and, um, well, lots of AVs, lots of snowballs in flight and the poor sim just keeled over and died.

Sorry. Hope it didn't ruin anyone's day...

I'll be more careful next year - promise!

Or.. May he rest in pixels.

The snowball fight was so much fun. I got tossed about a lot, some by Linden snowballs and some by stray snowballs. Next year, we residents will have to find a way to get an advantage over the cheating Lindens. :D
