Selection bug in new viewer?

I just downoladed the new viewer and I can no longer select objects properly that I have not made myself, even if I have edit rights on the object and the object is full mod.

If I select the prim it doesn't select (this was like this since the 1.9 update so no surprise there), so you select it a second time and that works (up until this new viewer).

Now I sometimes have to select a third and fourth time to get things to select, and the selection often just dissapears on a whim. Once selected, if you click on "stretch" or anything other than the default move handles, you lose the selection again. The "stretch" radio box stays checked, so you select again, but then the radio box jumps back to "move."

So I cant select things and do anything other than get the move handles, and that only sometimes or after multiple selections. This applies only to objects I did not make apparently.

Also the sim seems to havve already been rebooted.

Anyone else seeing this?

People have been having difficulty selecting objects around trees, the camers ends up selecting the transparent part of the alpha texture. Does this sound familiar?
