So I've learned something.

Memory doesn't serve because we're not likely to beleave we're capable of lying to ourselves, we take a stance and that bit of memory and that becomes the truth for us. It is all our brain grants to us and without little reminders we can do and say quite a few things out of hand.

When it came to my suspension, the post I thought I was banned for wasn't the right post... because that post was the one I had remembered. The post I had actually made was far more urgant and detailed than I had in memory.

So I want to publically apologize for being an idiot, but even with hat in hand I still beleave my intent was a good one... just poorly excuted. I had tried alerting them over the phone yes but as threads popped up about missing objects and bewildered people I decided that it should be in the bug thread, so at least people know they can retreave their things from the sim corner, lost and found, or their trash folders.

I also want to state that the abuse-manager should have at least emailed the entire post to me, so I would have known which it was and better understood my suspension... I still beleave had a dialogue been established they would have seen I was well meaning and not a monster deserving the brand.

Now that I have explained myself and apologized for my failings I ask this of linden labs...

Please reform your abuse appeal department, I've left a suggestion in the features area... it might be one way to go, but from everyone who was linked to this, I do not know of one person who got an email back from the abuse manager email address... The very least that I ask is you give people emailing that address an appeal number, much like they get a tech support number if they email issues of the client type... I know that they do since I had gotten the auto reply on another email address when I sent in the bug a day or so before the post.

Anyway, for the confusion I've created I apologize, really I do. In the future I'll just take bugs like that and keep laying into the liasons, grid workers, system lindens and what not, and try to get ahold of someone through email... I should have pressed those venues harder last time, I went public too fast and too soon.

What I don't want to apologize for though, is the issues I've raised about the appeal system, I've experianced it so far and I feel that you need to work on that system... its the worst customer service I've ever gotten, because I've never been ignored by any company that would want me to come back and continue to do business with them.

Okay... sorry for my screw up but please, get a clerk on the computer over at abuse-manager and let him or her be someone understanding like torely, jeska or philip, those three don't deserve to go back to such a... well, if you are the clerk there you must endure a lot of hateful, angry, or sad emails. heh... make the next cool intern do it :)

Linden Labs has already informed you on your Answers question that they will get back to you on Monday.

You are just making a big deal out of this. Sadly,now I feel you do indeed warrent forum bannage.

Your previous "Oh I got banned.. !@$!@$ LL" thread was locked cause it violated the Guidelines, and yet you are here again with yet another thread about your ban. I call this attention whoring.

Wait for them till Monday, if they don't get back to you and explain what you did then come back and post here.

It is also an apology because I got a few people confused, because I was confused over the facts myself. I'm well aware of the monday contact and thats another matter entirely.

So please don't troll, this is an attempt at mending fences with a few people and there isn't a better way to do it then admit you made some errors. The forum guidelines which you're attempting to use as a reason to flame me don't hold up, this thread isn't a repost because it is an apology, as for the other thread violating the terms of service, I've already talked with strife and I've already got my answers.

Leave me alone if you are going to be like that okay?

I am not trolling, I was trying to make a dull reply funny.

I was one of the few people who saw your exploit post seconds before it was deleted. And that was after the CM posts were removed. After they posted that there was an issue and they know about it.

I felt yours was intentional, as I have pointed out elsewhere. I am not flaming you. I am pointing out that you have already been told by LL that they will get back to you, yet you keep posting complaints about your ban.

As I stated the first time, I do feel your ban was warrented. Based solely on the one post of you that was posted after LL came to know of the exploit and restricted logins on the server (yet kept people who were still online on).

You really do need to let go of this, if you do keep digging this this is what you'd find. I'm sure you posted more than 1 post on the expliot, but the one post you are not rememberig is the one I was speaking of it, it felt like a spam post and it was not in the thread you mentioned earlier. Infact it was posted on another thread as the 2nd post in thread.

Good luck to you. And stop calling people trolls if they disagree with you, it gets you no additional supporters.

Trolling seem to have become the catch-phrase for people who can't take criticism, thus I'm pointing at what it actually means.

Cilis, maybe you are not intentionally coming up with these type of threads.

What I don't want to see is someone banned for posting about their ban, someone banned for posting about a thread that was locked due to discussing their ban.

I just felt that you were intentionally trying a matyrdom thing here. I too agree that LL is not fair with the majority of their guidelines and how they use them, but trying to make an example is the wrong way to go about it. If this was not your intention, then my apologizes. But seriously man, you need to let this go now. Wait till Monday and tell us what they tell you.

Well I have to say Robin Linden was very good in meeting with me, She calmed me down with a little idle talk to start things off and make it casual instead of business as usual, then we got down to talking about my concerns and she seemed very geniune in listening to me.

I really want to thank Robin and linden labs for employing someone to handle such things, because she does her job very well. Another meeting set for later, where I actually get to give my own suggestions!

I'm very happy with this and I feel like a dialogue has been opened up, which I am greatful for.

I'm glad to hear this worked out well for you, Cillis! And it does take a lot to admit you were wrong about something, even remembering wrong, and I should know!

It's nice, too, that Robin has taken the time with you, and to listen to your concerns. It makes me think things are going to improve all around.
