I was just thinking it might be nice if in addition to having an option to not be pushed we also had an option of pushing back, so when someone shoots us with a pushgun while we are in pushback mode, instead of us getting pushed, they get pushed instead.

I always found it kinda funny that llPushObject from an attachment had no recoil. Especially since llRezObject does.

How about they get crushed into a cube and deleted instead? Replace 'deleted' with 'baleted' and we've got a deal! |

I agree with and or endorse this product and or idea. _____________________

I do seriously like the idea, but two things spring to mind. Wouldn't people jumping on my trampoline with this enabled cause me to hop with them, and... griefers could and probably would just focus on objects with a delay-effect and TP out of the sim, or fire while sitting on a prim. |

The system could tell which avatar was causing a push - the avatar jumping on the trampoline would be the proximal cause. No pushbacks when you push yourself. This is really more of a joke, there's probably lots of reasons it won't work, there always are for serious ideas. Unapplied pushbacks would be stored, some of them would be applied shortly after login, others would be applied to the perp at random, when they least expect it. _____________________

Thats one of the reason i came up with this. /13/eb/121353/1.html#post1149271 _____________________

Call of Duty

In the video game "Call of Duty 2" there are multiplayer games.
For those who don't know it... it's a first person WWII game. If you have two teams you are bound to have "friendly fire" meaning you will shoot those on your own team. Call of Duty has several ways of dealing with this. 1. Hurt the member: (shots hurt other players) 2. Ignore it (shots do not hurt other players) 3. Shared (both parties take damage) 4. Reflect (the FIRING member takes damage) On this last option, shooting your teammate point blank would result in YOU dying. I wonder what would happen if every time you tried to push past a certain amount if you ALSO went flying. Heh, if you left a trampoline out you might get empathy bounces. |

My suggestion is somewhat in jest, but the lust for vengeange is quite serious.
