My concern is the constant updates may irritate new visitors (they have already irritated those here). instead of hitting a -single- group of people each week why not space it out, at least biweekly, to keep the customer happy.

or does a business laugh at that too?

As far as slboutique, never shopped there and don't plan to. So how does that relate to the price of tea in china?

edit: personally I'd rather have the updates biweekly -at most- unless its a major fix. my enjoyment of the game has dropped immensely since these updates became so constant.

I really expected them to announce that the days would be rotated. Something simple and sensible like Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

After all, they make the Community Roundtable at two different times of day (one one month and the other the next) so as to accommodate more people, because it was requested. So I expected some accommodation here as well, insofar as possible, and it would seem that alternating two days - such as Tuesdays and Wednesdays - wouldn't be technologically unfeasible. And I was surprised when it didn't happen.

The possible drawbacks, such as getting people used to two different days in an expectable pattern, are not as great as the advantages of giving a small nod to the Wednesdays-off-work people, imo.
