I made an Alt....

Yes I confess I made one when the new policy came into effect and I couldn't be happier with her! After supplying her with some old used clothes I sent her on her way to make her fortune.

Guess what? She proved to be more industrious than I ever dreamed of and is making about 1K a day in various events and all of that other boring stuff I don't have time for even though she is "unverified". Her only problem is her shoe addiction which I am trying to help her with.

I couldn't be happier.

I was thinking about doing that. Running two copies of SL, and just have one go to "Best thing is thing while wearing thing and thing" events all day long.

Hi Suezanne! I am fine thanks how are you? I don't get on much anymore due to working in a hospital. Take my advice and never work in a hospital. Anyway I guess I can just sit back and let my alt go to town in SL. She works like a dog and never complains as long as I keep her in new shoes.

Even more importantly she is not a mentor, being a newb and all, and doesn't have to worry about keeping her communicator on. Sometimes I swear this place is getting to be like Star Trek or something.

Heh, I use mine as a test subject for stuff like permissions, etc. He/She has been quite useful. I might even let him live!

I couldn't live without my alt. She test purchases all my products, and does all my talking on the . . . wait, I am the alt.

And then there is a third us, but we don't really like her much. We just USE her so we can have our own little GROUP. We don't let her do much of anything.

I honestly dont see the prob with alts - I have several email accounts - I have several logins for my PC - I have several bank accounts , several credit cards ( admittedly in the same name )

Testing Permissions
Land owner and money holder
Gambling machine money holder
Main Product avatar
A quite one for when I want some time to myself in SL
an Open account for my beta testers - no need to throw hundred of updates about

And one I am waiting for Linden to pick up on ( in protest at no verify )

I do however disagree to not having to attach an RL connection to one when creating it.

( And when ban-by-no-details comes in I shall attach my paypal details to all of mine )

I think there are only 3 people who post on these forums and they all have alts who talk to themselves.

My alt was born 2 or 3 months ago, I forget. I make her do all the work I have too many distractions to do myself. I don't allow her to have any friends. I make her pay for all the texture uploads. She's started to complain, but I bought her some hair and that shut her up for awhile.

I made an alt too! She doesn't do much of anything though, just sits around in her newbie clothing holding certain groups open for me till new groups come out. I think she has an attitude problem. Or is she the nice one and I'm the one with the attitude problem?

I did the exact same thing with the hair but I also bought her some new shoes! Now she is as happy as a clam and hardly sasses me at all any more.

My main avie locked the other alts off the land just for ornery sake. Boy, were they pissed.

I suppose it would be wicked kinky to want to have pose ball sex with petgirl and her alt?

I think a fun game would be to pick a brand new name, one that's utterly crappy that no one will pick and then try to create as many alts with that same last name as possible. If you get 100 of the same name you should be declared winner and we shutdown SL.

I got one, use him for perms/weapon testing, assassinations, and being in two places at once.

Is that like suicide with no commitment?
