Folks at LL, i have a simple request to you, can you please restrict your upgrade releases to just a max of 2 a month.. i'm on capped net as well... and frankly i hate the 56k deal in world.

Do the math and allow us to download only fixes and the like... come on there has to be a way around all these 25/51 meg downloads every time u patch something up.


plus everytime u guys do an upgrade the sim objects get reset..please look into some quality coding now!

To take up just 1Gig of yoru bandwidth allotment, they'd have to put out 5 clients PER WEEK! 50M is nothing. Even if they do just one per week, which is more than most months between major releases, you're only using 0.2Gig.

Yes, a Delta update would be better. Yes, cache should be more persistent. But I really think a few 50MB client downloads are not what's taking up your 40Gig allowance. I'd check for spyware, zombies, and get rid of any music sharing software.
