From: Lucifer Baphomet i demand compensation for having been offline dealing with rl stuff while the grid was down and missing the forum dhrama I have already made a post of a similar nature regarding the outage that occured not too long ago due to a power failure at the Linden server farm. From: someone I was at work during the power shortage at Linden Labs colo, and the power had apparently been restored shortly before I arrived home for lunch.
Despite warnings about possible slow logins the login went faster than normal, and grid performance was normal.
Other people got to experience the power shortage; I only got to read about it.
I demand compensation! Perhaps we should consider a class action suit.

Perhaps we should consider a class action suit. I'm all for that... as a matter of fact, I demand compensation for not having found Second Life until June of last year. Why was I not notified of Second Life when it was in beta?

Lots and lots and lots of money, the precise reason why we should get this money doesn't matter, just so long as we get lots and lots and lots of it. Now! No more dilly-dallying, unmarked bills, or their e-equivalents. Please. We Insist! With sugar on top.
Well now that Torley is on the matter I am sure we will all be able to sit back and count our money while quitting our jobs, hoo boy it sure is nice to have this money thing all taken of at last.

Which I just did.  Like Andy Page's remix of "Din Da Da", this jaunt is in progress. But the initial experiment to tidy up General a tad has been completed!  |

Announcement forum gives news about things like this, and if you'd rather not check, you can automatically subscribe to notifications too!
