I'm not entirely sure if that's a pre-requisite; I think you just have to be a competent writer, punctual, and be rabid about the topic of your choosing.

Do you know if they are looking for multiple bloggers? (for diiferent SL topics) ?

Weblogs, Inc. was that firm that was bought out by AOL for around $US 25 million. They have blogs covering a wide variety of topics (Engadget is a popular blog run by them). I think they want a semi-mainstream, single-source blog writer. Maybe if SL were bigger they'd hire multiple bloggers (ala BoingBoing), but seeing as we're still no bigger than a smaller city, they probably just want one writer. :)

Snark aside, I don't think Weblog cares about SL so much as they care about getting readers to click on the ads that'll be popping up on your blog as you write.

Regardless, it could be said that SL is SORELY lacking an easily readable, constantly updated, objective source of information/news/whatever. NWN drags along with 304 part storyboards, the SL Herald is a tabloid, and the Metaverse Messenger, while a worthy attempt, in my humble opinion is a bit hard to read due to the PDF file format, and makes it harder to access.

You can't read PDFs?
If you don't want to use Acrobat Reader (And I don't blame you one bit), take a look at FoxIt Reader. It's light, portable, and just plain rocks your fox.

I wanted to, but between this being able to turn SL into a job and not wanting to add more committments when I may end up soon moving to another town for a new job (*crosses fingers*), I thought it better to just sit back, relax, and enjoy the blog when it's finally written. Hoping it'll be a good blog, that is. ;)
