This morning I had the privilege of meeting an avie who decided to ruin my AM shopping spree... I seldom have time to do this, since I work all day. Today I decided to visit my favorite clothing store in SL...and to my surprise I met up with someone who decided that it would be GREAT FUN to run into me...in fact she ran me all over the entire store... Now since I'm not very familiar with everything in SL...I had no idea of what to do...meaning is there a way that we can make our avatar stand STILL and not be able to be pushed around? I reported her, and I'm truly hoping this was followed through, since it was very annoying and made me very angry. I'm an adult...therefore I didn't fight back...(as though we could anyway...LOL!)...but my immediate reaction was to push back and continue doing it until I knocked her over or she teleported away...then I wanted to take out a gun and begin shooting at her...or throw something at her avie so that she would find it difficult to see her monitor...ROFL...but all kidding aside... Is there anything that our avatars can do to NOT be pushed so that I'll know in the future? Thanks in advance for your reply )

I saw in the Classfieds forum a gadget that would lock you in place. But an also easy long time option is to find somewhere to sit. Just sit on a box, and chair, even a sign and you'll be unmovable.
Then you should AR the bugger. Include in the report the chat history or IM history if you had told them to stop, and they ignored you, etc. This is very annoying, and I think you handled it well ... a little more maturely than I would at least. Had it been me I would've shot them to Timbuktu a long time ago ... Or I'd just go all pervy on them in the hopes they'd run away screaming.

Sit on something. Ask them to stop. Or shoot them, preferably very, very far away.

That course of action outside of a combat area will get you on the business end of an abuse report, and apparently this individual is no stranger to those: /108/04/80934/1.htmlAs has been mentioned: just sit down. Fighting a griefer by being a griefer is never the solution.

And while sitting on something, wear a big invisiprim to further frustrate the attacker Add him or her to your ignore list so you don't even hear a thing, meanwhile you can do your shopping by pan-camming around the area.

Sitting down is underrated, and highly effective. Funny how it works.

Catherine Omega (I believe) has something called "Move" which, despite its name, includes an anchor, which stops you being able to be pushed.. However, after some testing, some exessively strong guns can penitrate it..

He, great to hear. Just be carefull with the shield as others have said, some shields push and that could get you AR'ed. Also what i do is sit, put my av on away and get a drink. By time you get back, they are uselly gone.
