Step One: Orbit/Flick/Offline offending person
Step Two: File an AR when they're no longer under fire.

If you orbit or attack the griefer, with scripted objects you could get a AR on you just the same as the greifer using scripted objects on you/people.

Thats true, but someone would have to be rock stupid to file an AR saying "So I was shooting up this club right? And some asshole that I shot orbited me!"

This is very true

but 2 wrongs don't make a right. the person who uses scripts on greifers are just as guilty.
its a very delicate matter. best to just eject and get them out of the area. then if you have any psuhed or hit with scripted objects report it.

The few times I have (tryed) to use abuse.. (needed help at once) and ask questions.. I have got answers late very late. Yesterday I got an answer (or a kind of answer) to an question made many weeks /months ago...

I try to live my own life as far as possible from problem or asking for help.. and I will cont that life..

I have to agree with PetGirl here. Yes the guy's intent was to be as disruptive as possible, so he was technically a griefer.

But since no real harm was done and you took care of the problem with ease, I would not file an AR on this. There really is no point. Even if lot of others AR'd him and the Lindens decided to ban him, he would have a new alt within 10 mins and be back at it. So I would not clog up the AR system with a report that really would be a waste anyway.

It takes a lot for me to AR someone. They would have to be really malicious for me to AR them. Random idiots I can take care of myself.

Comments like “if anyone is being an ass in my vicinity then I will report them without hesitation” make me cringe. Just because you don't like what they are doing doesn't mean it's bad. Different strokes for different folks. Maybe they are just having fun and don't realize that it's bothering you. Relax, this is supposed to be a fun place, not military school! :) Being an ass isn't a TOS violation. Try talking to them first if you can.

I think the way you handled that situation was perfect. Quick, easy and with as little disruption as possible. Your guests even got a bit of entertainment out of it. :)
