I think what most do is play the "Bi sexual" female.. who never EVER has an actual boyfriend.. just girls.. they use the front of "Im just a girl" to initiate the friendship they wish to make into feverish pervy cyb0rz then end up F88cking another bald fat man playing the exact same game **breaths in** IMO ;p

Oh yes! But I hope Linden Labs will let me change my surname too. I'm a EGL fan, and I'd love to change my last name to Lolita or to any decent Japanese last name. (I mean what posessed these guys to give foods that mean: shrimp, rice meal, sardines, salmon roe and chef?) Someone apparently was hungry.

Well I asked the same thing to a fellow gamer in the office (he was in IT and was known for playing only female characters). He told me the reason why he did was because, that if he had to stare at an avie's ass hours on end leveling, he might as well stare at a sexy ass.

That and female avatars get more freebie items/tanking/special attention from other unsuspecting male characters.

So it isn't just cyber-ing they're after, but pretty much your items and money too. (^.^)

Oops, I just remembered that Lolita was already used as a surname. LL must have known back then!

I personally have a female bodyshape, sans the breasts, 'playing' a male character. ( I put playing between '' cause I don't really RP on SL, I'm just being me ^^) Simply because to me, the female body is in ways far prettyer then the male body, and suits a queer, very girly boy like me better then the standard, off the shelf 'muslcemen' AV's.

On why playing a completely female character, I think it's part the chance of trying what it would be like to be of the other gender (Come on guys, who of you can really truthfully say they have never even pondered what it would be like to have breasts ), and partially it's the sexyness of it. (I can't say anything more in a decent manner *G*)

I would try it out myself sometime, but I have my reputation of Queer to hold up...

Interesting thread. I'm as new to this as can be - and haven't actually been inworld yet! I don't have broadband, so hoping to find a gaming/net cafe where I can play. So excuse my naivety. Nevertheless, the subject of whether anyone's RL self does or doesn't fit with their SL seems beside the point. Isn't this all about play (age play or otherwise)? Isn't the whole attraction of a virtual world the fact that one can do there what is impossible in RL? I mean people can fly in SL! Last time I tried it in RL I scraped my knee! If we can't let people express themselves in virtuality, what chance do we have in RL. Why bring intolerance into fantasy land?
