I Suspect Teens

I was hanging out at a casino area the other day and these 3 characters came along.The girl was nice but the two guys were obnoxious and monstrous.They were really immature and calling me names.lots of silly things.So I decided to respond after the guy pushed me into the water.I called him a retard.Then all the sudden someone said we dont like negativity and booted me.Well I was surprised i didn't understand why I was booted.Then I tried to make an abuse report but I crashed ,thanks to the good ole SL system.So when I logged back on I looked for their names but they werent in the search system at all.So my question is how is this possible.How can they not exist and how can I get booted for saying one thing when they can harass me?Also can teen griders get into SL?

This post is somewhat ridiculous, you've assumed he's a teen based on....name calling? Name calling you yourself participated in, by that logic you are also a teen. You and the majority other people who claim everyone who pisses them off is a teen and should be instantly banned for the horrible and unforgivable act of getting on your nerves simply overlook the fact that adults can be just as obnoxious, childish and immature as teenagers. In fact, in my own experience, the second something ticks an adult off, they instantly become completely indistinguishable from a teenager or even a 5 year old child in their attitude. Oh, and you were booted for calling someone a retard.

Why do people insist on being rude and creul when they post.Lighten up people Its just a simple question with a simple answer that doesn't require carcasm or crudeness.If you feel the need to over analyze what I said then please do it somewhere else.

I've met alot of obnoxious people who are twice my age (or so says their 1st life). Honestly, it's pathetic sometimes. Oh well, alot of casino/club areas have those type of people. That's why I hide from them.

Well Barry in case you haven't read my post its called i suspect teens its not called I know there are teens calling me names.And I didnt assume they were teens thats why I asked can teen gridders get into SL.And if you read my post at all I was focusing more on the topic of me getting booted for no reason and the fact that these guys dont exist according to the search engine.

Thats true Kitty they could just be immature adults.But what I found was strange is that their names are nowhere to be found in the SL search engine.

My good friend an i were standing in a store last week and 2 child avies one furry an one human came in with 4 adult humans. Unusual, not at all but the conversation that followed was very enlightening to say the least. They all started discussing where they lived then the Daddy of the 2 child avies asked everyones "real" age. So they all told...human child 37, furry child 33, the mom 15, the aunt 17, the uncle 15, an the DAD was 13! Just like my friend and i the child avies of course started asking why they were on main grid...3 of the 4 had paid accounts! Anyway it ended up that the adults tp'd in 4 other adult avies that were equally as young. 13 yrs old people! As the 2 child avies were leaving the store an the family the 15 yr old said you'd be surprised at how many of us are here.

In my opinion SL has got to get this under control a little better. I know cant keep em all out but i saw 8 in 10 minutes. Looks like lawsuits waiting to happen to me an that will take SL away from us all. I will say at the age of 13-15 with paid accounts...i blame the parents.

If i felt that just because something was immature and silly it required less attention than something deadly serious i'd be a fool, a lot of very significant things are also very silly things. For one, people who no doubt file an abuse report claiming whoever insults them is a teen (I see this happen perhaps 9 or 10 times a day) seriously cut into time that could be spent on actual problems. Remember, determining if a person is a teen can't be easy, and people like you (though i'm not saying you yourself filed a report) slow down the whole process and in general add to the linden's workload.
If someone tells you they're a teen, fine, if someone calls you names, abuse report it. If someone bothers you and you call them a retard then you are every bit as silly as them and shouldn't bother the wider community. Anyone with half a brain would realise that if they call someone a retard and are booted from somewhere and told it's because they're negative, they've been booted for calling someone a retard, you don't need to make a post about it. However i do admire your honesty at admitting you called them a name, even if you didn't acknowledge this could in any way contribute to your booting.

Oh, sorry, you SUSPECT teens. That's totally different, you're totally right. Saying "I suspect they are teens because they called me names" is much less offensive and stupid a thing to say than "I know they are teens because they called me names."

And I did read your post and you actually list the reason you were booted in your own post. Perhaps you should re-read your post if you're confused over why you were booted.

I kinda figured I could've been booted for calling the guy a retard which was probably immature of myself.but anyone can admit that its kinda hard not to resort to namecalling as a retaliation when someone knocks you in the water.Given more time I probably would have shot him.Also I filed an abuse report but apparently theyre not going to respond since its been three days.While I might be contributing to the workload of the Lindens you should to understand that it may not be important to you but its important to me.And really I just wanted to know if anyone else is having these problems about being booted for an invalid reason with no kind of warning,meanwhile the griefers get to stay.And I refered to them as teens because if you had of been there you would've thought the same thing.The stuff these two guys were saying could only come from someone very young and immature.

As for being booted for no reason or an "invalid" reason, that's part of SL. I was wandering around with an extremely unattractive avie the other day and someone ejected/banned me from their property just because they thought I was ugly. Is that fair? Probably not. Do I come on here to complain about it? No. Why not? Because it's their call and I don't want to associate with someone who bans people for being ugly. Maybe you don't want to associate with a landowner who bans people who can't help but resort to calling someone a "retard" for pushing them into virtual water.

While possibly a joke, this is actually a perfectly valid point! It is in no way the OP's place to judge whether or not there were "valid" reasons for him being banned. If his calling someone a "retard" offended the landowner, that is more than enough reason to ban him. Case closed, in my opinion.

As for teens on the adult grid, I'm sure they're out there. There are also teens who download porn off the Internet and occasionally drink beer.

So if you agree completely, why are you complaining? Clearly you got on the nerves of some landowner.
